About Us

What started as a service, grew into a passion.

After founding Multiple Breed Rescue in 2006, the Hunts found themselves being asked about boarding some of the dogs they had adopted out when their new owners went on vacation. Knowing the needs of the adopted dogs, Amy and Tyler were happy to provide a fun, safe environment for them to stay, and offer peace of mind to the owners while they were away.

Between the continued growth of adopters looking for boarding options and word of mouth of the service being offered, the occasional dog-sitting grew into a full fledged boarding kennel. A couple of crates became an entire room of custom-built kennels, with a play yard and regular walks for the tenants.

As the boarding business grew, Amy and Tyler decided it was time to go “all-in”. They sold their home and purchased property in Grafton to build a brand new facility with the needs of their boarding clients coming first. This new building would have everything the dogs staying with them would need: private kennels, larger play yards, walking trails, radiant heat floors, and an on-site groomer.
